Hello:

When the 2003 Ghana survey datasets(recode file) and the 2003 Ghana GPS datasets are merged using their cluster numbers (v001 in survey data and DHSCLUST in GPS data), neither ADM1NAME nor DHSREGNA in the GPS data matches v024(the country specific region) in the survey data(recode file). There are no such problems in all other years except 2003. Can you please confirm if you have the correct GPS file posted for 2003?

Thank you.

Before we can answer this questions, we need some more information from you.
Please give us the dataset "names" for the two data sets you are trying to merge:
The geographic data for 2003 is named GHGE4bFL
The household recode data for 2003 is named GHHR4bDT (.. ending wwith DT if youare a STATA user).

Which files are you trying to use to make the merge?

My check of the data shows that merge of the geographic file with the HR, PR, and KR files works correctly and v024 matchs DHSREGNA.
