Hi,
I would like to know if the variable "glycated protein percentage" (sb281 and sb381 for women and men, respectively)" also found in the CDPR81FL.dta refers to all the advanced glycation end products (AGE) or only to glycated hemoglobin alone. I would also like to have any documentation related to the methodology and how to these percentages: is 61% the same as HBA1c of 6.1%? Values in the DHS data all have two digits; this could be wrongly interpreted as everybody has diabetes (normal value for HBA1c being less than 5.5%).
