I need a bit of help. I searching for the variable that measures exposure to parental violence. the question is "as far as you
know, did your father ever beat your mother?"

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

The variable is d121 in the DV module:
d121            byte    %8.0g      D121       respondent's father ever beat her mother

I opened the Ghana 2022 IR file and entered "lookfor beat" in Stata. That's something you could have done. About 10 variables came up, including this one. If you have more questions, please identify at least one of the surveys you are working with.
