DHS india Dataset [message #30479] Thu, 05 December 2024 23:32 Go to next message

Hi
I am using Machine learning to classify men who justify violence. The dataset is men's dataset in India.
The analysis is for India. I am wondering which weight I can use. In men's data set, there is only one weight (MV005), will it suffice.
thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

There have been many previous postings on weighting. You could go to the GitHub programs (https://github.com/DHSProgram/DHS-Indicators-Stata) and search for "weight", "svyset", and "svy:". You can also check this part of the forum: https://userforum.dhsprogram.com/index.php?t=thread&frm_ id=33&
or search for those keywords on the forum itself.

Please use the national weight. This is hv005 in the HR and PR files, mv005 in the MR and CR files, and v005 in the IR, MR, and KR files.

Hello, I am working on the same dataset for my project. I'd appreciate it if we could connect on LinkedIn for the same. I do have some queries regarding it.
If yes, my id is Sharanya Ravindranth.
Once again, much appreciated if you could. Thank you.
