I want to calculate the child mortality indicator (IMR, CMR & U5MR) for Rwanda using RDHS-6 (2019-20) by disaggregating those indicators by sex of the child at the Regional Level (i.e IMR in Region_A by Gender). Can I get your support?? I a using the Public Stata Synthax of CM but I can't manage to make such disagragation. Thanks

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

The under-5 mortality rates are calculated with the BR file. I recommend that you construct two versions of the BR file--one for boys (cases with b4=1) and one for girls (cases with b4=2). Run the program separately for those two. That would be easier than modifying the Stata program.
