Hello,
Can any one please answer my following questions?

1) What is 'SWEIGHT' which is labelled 'Sample weight (6 decimals) (state level)' in the individual recode data file of NFHS-5 that was conducted in India in 2019/21. Is it a variable like V005?

2) In common practice, the variable V005 is used as the weight for the clusters (PSUs) in multilevel regression analysis. Can we also use 'SWEIGHT' as the weight for States if we included states as another level in multilevel regression analysis?

Thanks in advance for cooperation?

All of the weight variables that start with an S are state weights. Below are the state weights for households, the household weights for the men's subsample, and weights for the woman's sample, the domestic violence subsample, and the man's sample.

Household weight-SHWEIGHT
Household weight-man subsample-SHMWEIGHT
Woman's sample weight-SWEIGHT
Domestic violence weight-SDWEIGHT
Man's sample weight-SMWEIGHT
