Too few data sources have sex-disaggregated information about asset ownership, and the DHS can really take a lead in adding questions about who exactly owns the assets, especially land and housing, among interviewed households. It is not enough to differentiate by male- and female-headed households; we need to know in all households what is the gender of property title holders.
