Hello
I am working on spatial-temporal analysis of malnutrition in Uganda using district names of Uganda as the spatial units. I was interested i Using UDHS 1988-2016, however only UDHS 2016 and UDHS 1995 have district names. UDHS 2006 has the Sdist variable name but with numeric entries without district names. How can I overcome the problem

Following is a response from Senior Geospatial Data Scientist, Rose Donohue:

We don't have labels for the shdist value, but they could use the GPS dataset to find this information by taking the following steps:

1.Pull the cluster IDs and shdist values from the recode.
2.Join them to the GPS data.
3.Acquire a shapefile of the districts (available from sources such as GADM) and then spatially join the district names from that file to the GPS data.
4.They will then need to address instances where the values and names don't line up
