Fetching a specific recode data file from API [message #24668]

Hi,

I was trying to fetch a specific recode data file (Ex. NGKR4BFL.dta) from the API but I was having trouble doing so. I am able to see the filename and the details of that file from the datasets endpoint of the API but cannot see any way to download that file through the API.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is currently no way to directly download the datasets using the API, however, if you are using R, you can use the rdhs package (see this article) to download the datasets.
