Hi, I plan to use the latest Indonesian DHS dataset using a sample: pregnancies that occurred in the last 2-5 years in women aged 15-49 years. How can i find it in the dataset? thanks in advance

Following is response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

The only way to identify pregnancies other than those that resulted in a live birth is with the contraceptive calendar. It is given as vcal_1 and vcal_6. In vcal_1, a month with a T indicates a termination. In vcal_6, T is replaced with A for an induced abortion, K for a miscarriage, or S for a stillbirth. You can find more information in the Guide to DHS Statistics. You can also go through the DHS tutorial on the calendar, at https://www.dhsprogram.com/data/Calendar-Tutorial/index.cfm.
