I have tried to replicate the weights calculation for the BDHS 2014 Dataset.
The information for step 2 and step 3 are not matching in the reports of BDHS 2014. Can you help me with this?
Total number of census clusters and average number of household per cluster are not available in the report.
If I have misunderstood the details, it would eb great if you could guide me.

Thanks in advance.

Following is response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

The Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) never shared these data or the sampling frame with us. The only possible source is the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics. You could check with them to see if they can help.

Thank you so much for the reply.

Is there any other way to calculate the level weights?

I will try to find the information from them.

Following is response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

You could simplify the procedure, for example by assuming that the number of households per cluster is a constant. We have not looked into the sensitivity of the results to such a simplification, and cannot make a recommendation.
