Hello,
I am currently doing a project looking at determinants of missed opportunities for vaccination using the 2018 Nigeria survey.
As part of this, I have exposure data on the LGA level and need to link it to the dataset. To do this I have used the GPS coordinates to determine which LGA a cluster is in. By doing so, about 8% of clusters are allocated to an LGA outside of the state given in the survey data, which happens along borders. (E.g. the survey data says that the cluster is in Nasarawara state, but my analysis places it in FCT Abuja as it is right on the border).
I assume that this is because of the random displacement of GPS coordinates to ensure confidentiality. Is there anything I can do to correct this, or is it just a feature of how the data are presented for confidentiality reasons? Would it be possible, for example, to provide which LGA a cluster is situated in to match with the data file, or is this information not captured?
Thanks
