Hi! I am looking for the interpretation for s572 "Attend any organized learning or early childhood education program" appeared in the kr and ir file. I am seeing this variable but the recode manual did not explain this at all. I am wondering if it is talking about the child born or the mother. Thank you!

You did not indicate the name of the survey you are working with. However, the recode manual only references standard variables, whereas the variable you are referencing is a country specific variable. For country specific questions, the variables are generally named and coded in the same way as they were on the questionnaire. The variable will have a leading "SH" if the question was asked at the household level, a leading "S" if asked at the women's level, and a leading "SM" if asked at the men's level. You should look in the Women's questionnaire for Question 572 for more information on this variable. The questionnaires can be found in the appendix of the final report.

You can find the question in the women's questionnaire in the appendix of the final report.
