Hi,

I am looking to conduct a diff-in-diff analysis for a health policy where I match the treatment to the individual on a district level. As NFHS4 is lacking data on districts, I am unable to distinguish between my treatment and control group in the pre-treatment survey (round 4).

I was wondering if anyone had any idea how I can still carry out my diff-in-diff by approximation methods or anything else?

In NFHS-4 the district variables are:

•SHDISTRI household data
•SDISTRI women's data
•SMDISTRI men's data
