Hello,

I am currently using the Namibia 2013 DHS for secondary data analysis and wondered if there may be a specific reason why there has not been a more recent DHS in Namibia, for example in 2018/2019?
Is there any way to find out why a DHS was not conducted/ if there are/were plans for a country to conduct a future DHS?

Thank you,
Alice

Following is a response from DHS Senior Project Manager, Livia Montana:

Namibia has not made a request for another DHS survey to date. Sometimes there is more than a 5 year gap between surveys, if funding is not available or if there is another survey ongoing in the country.
