Hello

I am using the women's datasets from Mali, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Senegal.

I would like to identify and exclude any of the women's daughters who are now aged 15-49 and included in the dataset. i.e. I would like just the mothers and none of their daughters.

Is there a simple method to achieve this? I am finding it difficult to identify the group I want to exclude.

Many thanks

Janet

Dear User,
Here is a response from Data processing expert, Mr. Noureddine Abderrahim:
Quote:

B16 gives the line number of the woman's child in the household. B16 is equivalent to V003. By producing a data file of female daughters 15-49 based on B16 and using it to exclude any woman in this file from the woman's file, you will get a woman's file with no daughters.
