Dear members

I have been reading the documents about the height and weight registers of children under 5, but now I have several doubts, and I would be really grateful if you could solve it.

Are there the same number of registrered cases of HAZ and WHZ in a PR file and in a KR file in each country? I have read that there are diffences between both, because one has records of all members listed in the household, and the other only ever born children 0-59 months of age, from women with completed interviews.

Thank you very much in advance

The numbers of cases for HAZ and WHZ in the PR and KR files will be different. The PR file contains the data for all household members and visitors and is the basis of most analyses of child anthropometry. The KR file only includes the data for children listed in the PR file whose mother was also listed in the PR file and was interviewed. Thus the children with HAZ and WHZ variables are a subset of the children with HAZ and WHZ variables in the PR file.
