Hello! I'm currently working with 2008 Bolivia DHS, and I'm trying to discriminate which homes have lived in the same area recently. My problem is that the none of the recodings indicate how the variables "locality / municipality / department of previous residence" (s104 / s104m / s104d) are coded. I was able to infer how the department variable is coded (there are only 9 departments), but the other 2 are still a mystery. Is the coding of these variables kept somewhere by USAID, or is it possible to request it to a local authority?

Regards.

Hi! I am writing to inquire if it is possible to obtain the key outlining how the following variables are coded in the Service Availability Questionnaire of the 1994 Bolivia DHS:
o SPROVIN Province name
o SCANTON Canton name
o SLOCAL Localidad name

Kind regards,
Leandra
