I am trying to (re-)construct the 2016 Wealth Index (in R) (in order to analyse an alternative index constructed using the same data).
I can translate the SPSS code into R, but note that this uses a file that I don't have: 'C:\ET71\Wealth\wealth_assets.sps'.
Alternatively, I have tried following the instructions in: "Steps_to_constructing_the_new_DHS_Wealth_Index.pdf". However I cannot find the data on DOMESTIC or HOUSE in the available data files.
Can you help?
