Presently My wife is doing her PG in periodontics. Yesterday she did full mouth scaling to a patient and usually they chk for HIV status but bcz of some communication gap that was not checked and he today was found to be HIV positive. Treatment history unknown. She not wore any glasses , single glove and mask. No needle stick injury. Worried of HIV transmission through aerosol and blood from gums during procedure. Kindly advise further. Thank you
