Dear,
I'm from indonesia, i want to analize contraceptive switching.
I realize that idhs collect history of contraceptive use for the last five years before survey.
In the idhs questionaire, these data were collected at the last section of women's questionare.
I have trouble to find the raw data set that contains contraceptive switching, is it in individual records, birth records, child records or else?
Where can i find that calendar data?
Thanks.

Following is a response from Senior Data Processing Specialist, Noureddine Abderrahim:

The data on contraceptive discontinuation and switching are stored in the second column of the calendar (VCAL). Contraceptive use in the past five years are stored in the first column of the calendar.

By combining use and discontinuation, you should be able to extract the switching of methods.
