Hi,

I am new to DHS and currently I am working on a project on global education. May I know by any chance if I can get the age of starting primary education for each participants? Or if this info is available for a subgroup of participants?

I can compute this age for populations who are 'still in school' using age_at_survey - education_single_years, but can I have this for all participants?

Any feedback is appreciated! Thank you!

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

The age at which a respondent started school is not a standard variable in DHS surveys. I don't know of any DHS survey in which the question has been asked.
