Dear DHS help,
I do not seem to see any information on FOLIC ACID taken by mothers under MIDX =1, although IRON TABLETS OR SYRUP info is available. Please help me confirm this, OR does it mean Iron contained FOLIC ACID also? As in IFA. Thank you

Following is a response from Senior Data Processing Specialist, Noureddine Abderrahim:

The standard questionnaire does not include questions on Folic Acid. The standard questionnaire is the one used in the DHS surveys with some variation specific to the country. Some countries might include questions on Folic Acid but it is not a standard question. One such country is the 2012 Kyrgyz Republic survey - in questions 422A and 422B of the woman questionnaire, information was collected on Folic Acid intake.
