Good afternoon

I am trying to calculate the duration of current partnership among all currently married of cohabiting women. I understand there is a variable for the duration of FIRST partnership, but not current partnership. Is it possible to calculate current partnership duration?

Following is a response from DHS staff member Tom Pullum:

That's correct. DHS does not obtain union histories with dates and durations. You can only calculate the duration of the current relationship if it is the first/only union.
