Child health and father occupation/age/mother empowerment [message #25265]

I am using the children recode (KR) file for NFHS4 and NFHS5.I want to know about husband/partner[father] occupation,/education and mother's empowerment and link it to child [age 0 to 59 months]health but the responses are too few compared to full sample size. Can anyone give reason for this? Do I need to merge other files with children file?
