Hello,

I am using the difference-in-differences method to look for the effect of industrial development on certain outcomes for Ghana over time. I am looking at proximity to a mine to differentiate treatment and control groups. I have already projected the mine's location (lat/long) onto a shapefile in QGIS. I have downloaded the standard files and geographic files for Ghana. How do I merge these two files and then export to QGIS to find an individual's (or cluster?) distance from a mine? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
