Hi,

There is a three-part question on fieldworker experience in the fieldworker questionnaire (fw115). However, I expected to find a fw115a (any DHS experience), fw115b (any MIS experience), and fw115(any survey experience) in the data. There is only a fw115 with two values (yes, no) and no description in the codebook. Does this variable aggregate across DHS, MIS, and any other survey experience or what does it represent otherwise?

Thank you!

Following is a response from our Chief of Data Processing, Guillermo Rojas:

In the early stages of the fieldwork questionnaire development (essentially in DHS-7), there was only the question of experience working in DHS and therefore there was only variable FW115. In DHS-8, questions on experience on DHS, MIS and other were introduced and consequently the introduction of variables FW115A, FW115B, and FW115C.
