I would like to request detailed assistance on how to perform an individual meta-analysis of DHS in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) on the uptake of IPTp with SP, associating it with four ANC visits and other covariates. I am not sure how best to pool the individual data together from different countries to estimate the uptake and factors affecting it. Kindly help.

Dear ozeost,

There have been many postings about how to pool datasets to conduct analysis. Two that walk through some of the specifics are linked here:

https://userforum.dhsprogram.com/index.php?t=msg&goto=36 2&&srch=pooling#msg_362
https://userforum.dhsprogram.com/index.php?t=msg&goto=35 70&&srch=pooling#msg_3570

If those do not provide enough information, I suggest searching the user forum for "pooling".

Best,
Sara
