Dear DHS,
I was wondering if you could share with me the NCD indicator do file for Ghana DHS 2014 or any of the latest data with biomakers.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Winfred

Following is a response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

This kind of information is usually in the PR file and/or the IR file (for women). In GHIR72FL.dta I find the blood pressure measurements coded as s101. The woman's BMI is v445. Her anemia level is v457. I do not see any variables related to diabetes. In any case, DHS data do not normally include a formal diagnosis of diabetes or other NCDs, just questions about whether the subject has ever been treated for, or diagnosed with the NCD.
