Hello,

I am trying to calculate the timing and provider for first postnatal check for Mother and new born using ZDHS 2007 womens data (ZMIR51FL) using Stata. I have made reference to the code provided by Lindsay Mallick attached but cant reproduce the figures in Table 9.8 and 9.9 ( Attached) of the Zambia DHS report. The DHS 2007 womens data (ZMIR51FL) includes m51a_1 and not m51_1 but does not have m50_1 and m52_1. It also includes m63_1 but does not have m67_1 making either code provided tricky to use.

Please help.

Thanks,

Following is a response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

Please try the program for Chapter 9 indicators on our github site ( https://github.com/DHSProgram/DHS-Indicators-Stata/tree/mast er/Chap09_RH ). Let us know if the general code does not work for this Uganda survey.
