I will like to know if I need some sort of permission (other than the data approval already gotten) or if there is a need to cite my data source.)

I have just spent the past 4 hours trying to discover if the DHS requires a citation prior to researchers using DHS data for publishing papers.

I could not find anything online that said you needed one or did not need one. Everything I have read on your web-site (dhsprogram.com) seems silent on this issue:

https://dhsprogram.com/data/Using-Datasets-for-Analysis.cfm

I do know that IPUMS-DHS requires a citation and it is clearly stated on their website here:

https://www.idhsdata.org/idhs/citation.shtml

To clarify and confirm I have decided to write in this post and hear directly from the "horses" mouth. I shall look forward to your response.
