Hi,
I and two of my co-authors are from Bangladesh.
I want to work on a specific public health problem among several countries of Sub-Saharan African countries. I will use the available DHS datasets.
In this regard, one of my co-authors said that, 'one co-author from any of these involved countries has to be involved (as co-author) in such studies'.
Now, is it right?

Will it cause any problem (ethical) during submitting our work in any international journal, as we haven't engaged any native person of those selected countries?

Thank you.
