How to calculate age specific death rates by backward projection method? Computation by Excel or Stata both are preferable. Also want to know the proper formulla for backword projection method

Actually I have tried to find the age specific death rates for adults in the age group 15-64 (the age groups are divided in 5 years age groups viz 15-19, 20-24 etc ) by the method of lexis diagram backward projection method for NFHS4 data. But the values are not matching. It is almost same for initial age groups but varying from the actual values in the last age groups. I cannot understand where I have done wrong.
