In this tutorial only before pregnancy contraception use is there but I want to the time of contraception used after the delivery of the last child from calendar data. Do I have to make an event file to calculate the same or without making the event file it will work? If yes then how?

Please reply as soon as possible

Take a look at example 3 (Postpartum family planning) in module 3 in the DHS Contraceptive Calendar Tutorial. This provides methods for finding the contraceptive use after the last pregnancy.

It is not yet documented in the contraceptive calendar tutorial, but look at Example9.do in https://dhsprogram.com/data/Calendar-Tutorial/upload/Stata.z ip

In this example 3, it states that the timing of initiation of contraceptive within 12 months but I want to see that that how much time women take to initiate family planning after her recent work.

I think we subtract duration of event-duration of next event ??? Will it work and It can also lead to some censoring problem if you guide me with this it will be very helpful
