Is it possible to match the field worker from NPFW7AFL.DTA to respondents in other files (e.g., NPIR7HFL.DTA)?
Many thanks.

Dear User, a response from senior data processing expert, Guillermo Rojas:
Quote:

Yes, the fieldworker questionnaire can be matched to any interviewer, supervisor or biomarker codes included in any DHS files. If for example, the persons file don't have the supervisor or interviewer codes they can be obtained by merging the household data file to the persons data file.

Thank you, Mr Rojas. Another quick question: which files have the blood pressure results and what is the name of the variable? I don't seem to locate it in any of the files except NPVA7AFL.DTA (which has qn629: mother suffer from high blood pressure". Sorry if this is something that is easily "locate-able", but I just don't seem to find it. Would appreciate any guidance.

Hello Yubraj,

You will find these variables in the PR file- NPPR7HFL.DTA. They have taken three readings and also given the final systolic and diastolic readings for both men and women. The variables are:

shb219s shb219d shb226s shb226d shb230s shb230d shbpsw shbpdw shb319s shb319d shb326s shb326d shb330s shb330d shbpsm shbpdm

Hope this helps
