Dear Sir/Ma'am,

I want to estimate average cost of delivery using STATA [Table 8.20 {NFHS-4 India report page no. 234}]. Hence, Please let me know how to estimate the delivery cost in STATA.

Following is a response from DHS Research & Data Analysis Director, Tom Pullum:

The variables are s448aa_1 and s448ba_1 in the IR file for the NFHS4. These are survey-specific questions and variables, so we do not have standard code for Table 8.20. You should be able to construct the indicator with just the summarize command in Stata. We cannot provide further help.
