Please find attached recommendations for revisions to questions related to birth registration recommended by the Child Health Task Force M&E Subgroup.

This submission is the result of expert consultation led by the Child Health Task Force M&E Sub-group involving over 40 participants through a series of on-line and in-person meetings and additional vetting through Child Health Accountability and Tracking (CHAT) expert advisory group led by UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO) (see appendix 1 of document for member list). Participants from the following organizations were involved in the expert consultation: Johns Hopkins' Bloomberg School of Public Health (including Improving Coverage Measurement (ICM) and Data for Decisions to Expand Nutrition Transformation (DataDENT)), Every Breath Counts metrics group, Maternal and Child Survival Program, CHAI, ICF, Jhpiego, John Snow, International, PMI/CDC , Save the Children, USAID, UNICEF and WHO among others. The names and organization affiliations of meeting participants and contributors are included in appendix 2 of the document.
