Dear DHS Team,

I require some assistance with interpreting the data from the Ghana DHS 2014 male data. Variable mv312 is labelled as "most recent contraceptive method". Unfortunately I am unable to determine whether this is most recent contraceptive method at last intercourse or method used within the last 5 years.

I would be very grateful if I could receive some clarification as to the coding and definition of the variable to assist me with further analysis and reporting of results of the data.

Dear User, start by looking at the questionnaire and following skips if applicable. QM416 in the questionnaire, asks: When was the last time you had sexual intercourse? Also look at QM438 and QM439.
