Dear Sir/Madam,

I am working on the table 11.2 "Prevalence of tuberculosis by type of fire/stove among household using solid fuels or kerosene" NFHS-4 India report page 350. I have used variable hv226 and sh39 for this indicator, but cold not match figures as given in the report. I want to know how this figures has been tabulated with the certain condition. So, I can get correct figures from raw data.

Regards,

Kailash

Following is a response from Senior DHS Specialist, Fred Arnold:

We recently found an error in the construction of this table. The revised version of the table will be included in the final NFHS-4 report, which will be published in June.

Dear Sir,

I have used same variable (sh39) for the computation of "Type of fire/stove among households using solid fuels" in the table 11.2, which has been used in the table 2.3, but figures are not matching with the report and raw data.

Please help for the computation of background variables used in the table 11.2 (Type of fire/stove among households using solid fuels).

Regards,

Kailash
