Dear DHS team members,

I tried to look at the ethnicity of all surveyed individuals in the Ethiopia DHS. There is no 'ethnicity' variable in the PR and HR datasets. Please let me know if there is any way to assign ethnicity for all individuals surveyed using other datasets such as IR, MR and BR which have the variable.

Ethnicity is collected in the women's questionnaire, and found in V131.

Dear Bridgette,
Thank you for the response! The problem is that the women's questionnaire does not cover all households and individuals included in the household recode. I was wondering to assign ethnicity for all individual household members in the household recode including those who did not participate in the women's questionnaire.
