Hello!
I am wondering if someone could please explain the missing values for the HIV blood test result (hiv03) in the AR files. For example, the Burkina Faso 2003 AR file shows 1,179 missing values for the blood test result. My understanding is that the AR file includes respondents who were not just eligible but actually had a blood sample taken for the purposes of HIV testing. So does this mean that for Burkina Faso in 2003 there were 1,179 blood samples taken that for one reason or another we don't have the results for? I just want to make sure I am interpreting this missing data correctly. Thanks much for any help, I can't tell you how much I appreciate this user forum! :)
Best to all,
Dani

A response for senior data processing expert, Guillermo Rojas,
Quote:
Yes that is correct, we only include individuals that have been tested in the AR files.
Thanks,
