merging wealth index file for Turkey DHS 1993 [message #11464]

Hi,
I am trying to merge the wealth index file (identifier whhid) with the birth recode file, but cannot figure out what concatenation or trimming of caseid, v001, etc re-create whhid. I found user forum responses about Malawi and other data sets, but those do not apply to the Turkey file. Is there documentation for how whhid is constructed?
