Hi there,
Can you tell me if the maternity care module in DHS surveys that have done a full pregnancy history (i.e. Pakistan 2012-13 DHS and Nepal 2011 DHS) includes all the mothers births (i.e live births and stillbirths) in it or are only the live births carried over to that section? So is there antenatal care and delivery care data available for stillbirths at all?
thanks

Dear User,
The maternity care section always considers live births in this section. You can always check the questionnaires in the back of the final reports, but the answer is only live births in the health section. A lot of the information is collected for the last live birth (a baby may have died, but he/she was born alive).
Thank you!
