Dropping cases with HIV05 missing in SPSS [message #9773]

Hello SPSS users,

I merged my individual and HIV datasets fine, I however, having a problem trying to drop any cases with hiv05 missing (these are cases with no HIV result). What is the procedure of doing this in SPSS.

Following is a response from Senior DHS Stata Specialist, Tom Pullum:

I do not use SPSS but can suggest that you drop the cases with hiv05 missing, OR select the cases with hiv05 NOT missing, OR change hiv05 to 0 for those cases.
