Hello, I am trying to determine how to calculate median breastfeeding duration using current status data to avoid the issue of bias that occurs from heaping when using retrospective data. Can someone help me with STATA code for finding this number? Do I construct a current status life table? Any help would be much appreciated!

Here is a response from one of our STATA experts Tom Pullum, that should answer your question.

We do not have Stata code for this, but here is the relevant SPSS code. I hope it will be possible for you to read it and convert to Stata.
