I am conducting analysis with the 2007 Bangladesh DHS, women's survey - specifically using data from the domestic violence module. I have a question about the dv weight (d005).

The Bangladesh 2007 Survey Report and the (general) DHS Recode Map V describes calculation of sampling weights for households, females, and males. The recode map instructs that each of these be divided by 1000000 prior to use.

I cannot find information about the calculation of the dv weight d005, and I wonder if I should also divide it by 1000000 before use.

Household Weight HV005
Women's Weight V005
Men's Weight MV005
Domestic Violence Weight D005

All these weights are multiples of 1000000, so when you use them you have to divide them by this multiplier (1000000).

Yes, it has 6 implied decimal places, so divide it by 1000000 as well
