Hello,

I would appreciate your advice on the Stata code to use for this: I am calculating the neonatal mortality rates for the 5 year period preceding the 2013 Nigeria DHS.

I have been working with the midx variable in the births recode dataset to identify children born in that period, and using the b5 and b6 variables to extract the children who died within the neonatal period.

However, I am not able to replicate the NMR in the report and I'm wondering what I did wrong.

Please help! Thank you in advance!
