I have worked with the databases from Senegal. In most of the DHS surveys, I found 1 KR file that merges with 2 GPS files: 1 GPS file with latitude/longitude, and a 2nd GPS file with temperature, vegetation, etc. I have merged each KR file with the respective 2 GPS files, creating a single file: KR file + 1st GPS file + 2nd GPS file.
However, for the DHS surveys in 2014 and 2016, the number of KR files does not match the number of GPS files (see below), so I am unsure how to merge them. I would be grateful if you could help me. I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Following is a response from DHS staff member, Tom Pullum:

The Senegal Continuous Survey is difficult to work with and is under-analyzed, by DHS staff as well as other users, because there are so many different files with seemingly random names.

For the recode files such as the KR file, it helps to have a list that identifies the year (v007) that goes with each filename. Some files have been issued that span two years, with separate files for each year separately.

I'm afraid I don't quite understand your issue. Can you re-state it? Is there a file that you believe should exist but you can't find it?
