I am working with a dataset from the Mozambique 2022-2023 Household Survey. I have questions about the context of the variables listed below. Alternatively, I think if I could see the specific questionnaire provided then it would answer these questions (these questions were not listed on the general household survey or Fieldworker Supervisor Manual, they were only found in the dataset).
HML38$01: child taken or taking first line medicine given by health provider for malaria
Is this question referring to a specific timeframe or are they asking if the child ever received treatment, at any time in the past? This is referring to treatment, correct, and not prevention?
HML39$01: Parent accept first line medicine to treat malaria
Is this question stating that the child tested positive, and the fieldworker is offering treatment to the parent to give to their child? Or is it to treat the parent?
HML35$01: Result of malaria rapid test
Was the rapid test given to everyone in the household? Is there a simple way to stratify this so that only the children's rapid results are shown?
