Hello,

I have been trying to find out whether folate data are available for the Rwanda DHS 2019-20. The Survey Characteristics Search suggests the folate data to be available. However, when I skimmed through the Supplemental Report for Micronutrients, I noticed that there is no table describing folate status, while there are tables for vitamin B12, iodine, ferritin, etc.

Could an expert kindly look into this and let me know:

(i) are folate data available;
(ii) if available, the variable name(s) that I should focus on; and
(iii) the variable names for CRP, vitamin B12 and ferritin.

Many thanks!

Following is a response from DHS Lead Nutrition Research Associate, Rukundo Benedict:
The folate data are not yet available and not included in the micronutrient report nor in the released dataset. The variable names ( for CRP, vitamin B12 and ferritin) are included in the dictionary for the RW micronutrient dataset. Let us know if you have other questions.
